Guiding Integrated Health, LLC, as CEO Carlos Olivares, takes an innovative approach to developing and implementing at-risk managed care contracts. His company meets the needs of patients who need access to quality, affordable health care. Carlos Olivares also delivers advisory services to clients such as Equiscript Pharmacy Solutions, which applies new technologies that benefit community health center patients while generating diverse revenue streams.

Knowledgeable about delivering cost-effective care to migrant workers, Mr. Olivares founded Community Health Plan WA ( CHPW) and pioneered a community-own managed care approach. As head of Yakima Valley Farm Workers, he has overseen contracted plans for lives-under-risk in Oregon and Washington and expanded the network to encompass dozens of clinics. These offer medical and dental care, nutritional counseling, autism screening, after-school education, and employment assistance and training.

Mr. Olivares maintains a community presence and actively participates with HAAP, which provides scholarships to Hispanic students for higher education. He also serves on the Heritage University board, primarily serving minority students in Toppenish, Washington. As a founding member of the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, he informs a medical school that has been graduating physicians since 2012.
